Belgomilk is the most important milk processing company within the Milcobel group. The fact that they collect their milk from their own farmers and that all their shareholders operate within the cooperative company has earned them a solid reputation as an authentic, trustworthy manufacturer. When Belgomilk started to develop a new brand of baby formula, they wanted to build on that trust. Brandhome remained by their side, starting at the very beginning: the conception phase. Brandhome developed the name; logo, product packaging design and sales leaflet. The delivery of a brand in this category is no mean feat. It is strongly regulated by the WHO (World Health Organisation). Furthermore, the project needed to be developed, not for Europe, but for the international market with focus on China, Japan, Southeast Asia and Africa. The challenge was great and every piece of our extensive experience as conceptual parents was needed to guide the project towards success. What’s in that name: ‘TrueLife’? ‘True’ refers to truth, trust and keeping your promises. This is a brand that can be trusted because it is pure: you know what you are buying. True refers to ‘no compromises’. As a parent, you are staying true to the promise every parent wants to keep: providing your child with the best possible care and protection to prepare it for the brightest possible future ahead. ‘Life’ refers to the brand new life that needs to be cherished so it can flourish and grow to be healthy and happy. ‘TrueLife’ is a promise to parents that they are choosing a safe, natural, pure product that will nourish and protect the precious little life they are watching over.
